As a London family photographer I am lucky enough get the opportunity to photograph returning customers. On this occasion I photographed the Ericsson family and their extended family from overseas. The Ericsson grandparents were visiting from South Africa and this gave us the opportunity for some lovely family photographs.
I last photographed the Ericsson family when Finn was about 9 months old. He has grown so much and is now a little boy and no longer a baby. It is amazing how much a little one can change in just a few months and it is lovely to do regular photos so that you can remember all the stages of their growing up. Finn is such a little character and a very cute one at that! At first he was a little suspicious of my camera and lens but he soon forgot all about me and he was a dream to photograph.
We met up at Richmond Park to capture some special family photographs and lifelong memories for both his parents and grandparents. The weather played its part and there was no rain which was so fortunate given London’s unpredictable summer weather!
We took some lovely posed family photographs which still look natural given the lovely natural surroundings. I much prefer these over a studio session which can often be too clinical for my liking. Finn then played freely with sticks and bubbles, an old red wagon and he enjoyed climbing on the fallen logs. I was able to capture some very natural photographs of him which I am sure his parents and grandparents will love. We even managed some lovely mummy and daddy shots too.
If you would like to book a session with me to capture your own special family photographs, please get in touch with me via my website www.clarecarrier.com (where you can also view some more of my recent work) or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I have limited sessions available for the rest of 2015.
